The Annual Bay Area Music Awards
The Bay Area Music Awards(BAMAs) have been created to recognize artists and role players in the Music and entertainment industry.
The Bamas is an annual event which saw the first red carpet awards evening happening on the 24th June 2011 at the St.Thomas Auditorium.
The initiative recognized artists and role players identified and voted for by the Public over various categories like Best Rap Group,Best Choir,Lifetime cinrtribution award and manuy more.
The Bamas are hosted by the National Arts and Music Academy(NAMA) who is a arts quality assurance body(convened by Bonfire Youth Movement) consisting of carefully selected individuals from the local community.This body facilitates the nomination and voting process who determines the winners of the various categories of the Bay Areas Music Awards.
The 3rd edition of the awards was hosted in association with Platinum Cue productions and saw the introduction of categories like Music video of the year and documentaries honouring legends.
The 4th edition,2014,will be hosted in association with marketing company Bargain Insights PTY(Ltd) and media powerhouse RED I.
